Meet Renee.

Renee Corpuz-Lahne grew up sailing out of King Harbor YC in southern California. Her sailing career has taken her across the globe starting as a youth sailor to becoming a College National Champion with the University of Hawai’i at Manoa sailing team. She has run multiple youth sailing programs and coached many youth racing teams and high school teams.

Renee’s support of sailing has crossed borders and fostered friendships. She has a unique approach to creating valuable learning environments and coaching beyond just a goal of winning races.

Currently residing in the Bay Area, northern California, Renee has been continuing with her love of the sport thru teaching, coaching and mentoring youth sailors on the west coast . She also finds the time to volunteer as the chair of the Bay Area Youth Sailing Board , RS Tera North America fleet rep, and sits on the Sausalito Sister City Exchange Program Council.

A strong passion for helping kids learn to love boating has lead Renee down the path of entrepreneurship. Thru this new faze of her youth sailing career she will continue to spread her love of the sport and what it has to offer our future sailors and their continued growth in this unique sporting environment.
